still catching up

a couple of weeks ago garret earned a free Pizza Inn buffet for good behavior in school! He is doing so well right now and learning stuff like crazy. he is even starting to read books! it is so strange how kids go through cycles all the time. not so long ago i remember crying out to the lord for help with garret. he was having behavior trouble in school and seemed to be uninterested in the school work. now he is soaking it up like a sponge and even helping out some of his classmates. i am so PROUD of him. of course we still struggle with the obeying first time and following directions but i am also learning how to work with garret better and not expect to much from him, he is only 5! i have to remind myself of this a lot.
i love this boy like crazy!
