pinata making 101

i remember doing this as a kid myself. i always loved paper mache and getting dirty. today i was probably the only one who still loved to get dirty, actually the girls enjoyed it too. garret wasnt so thrilled with his hands getting crusty.

so heres what you need:
a balloon
newspaper
water and flour mixture
then you dip the strips of newspaper into the glue mixture and start wrapping the balloon.

once it is completely covered you let it dry and harden

once it is hard and dry you pop the balloon and pull it out of the top hole. then we decorated ours with pieces of tissue paper. all the cousins will be together for easter so we will use it then. i will post some more pics of the finished product then. it was really fun to do and the kids love doing a "project".

Love it! I'll have to try that with the kids sometime. Thanks for the instructions. :)
